Lino Doll: Cafe Lino
Share
There was a man named Rino who ran a cafe by himself, enjoying his own leisurely life. He only had one or two customers a day, but since he liked to take it easy, this was actually a good thing.
After a day's work, I looked at the coffee bag holder in the red cupboard and noticed that there were only a few coffee beans left. I called the bean store and asked them to deliver 100 grams of coffee beans. I'll be away tomorrow, so please leave them at the store. Tomorrow, I'm planning to go pick strawberries first thing in the morning and make a delicious strawberry cake.
When Caferino returns to the shop with a load of strawberries, he sees a sign on the door.
"We've delivered 100 kilograms of coffee beans. We'll put them all in here." Lino tilted his head and opened the door, and with a thud a wave of coffee beans engulfed him. "Oh no! It's not 100 grams, it's 100 kilograms," said Lino, buried in coffee beans.
I managed to swim through the sea of coffee beans and made my way to the top, where I found a gap just wide enough for my face to fit between the ceiling and the ground.
"I need to call Uchika-san," Lino thought, pondering which direction to call, when she heard a "slurp, slurp" sound coming from below. As Lino looked around the area where the sound came from, she heard a "slurp" sound and an old man popped his head out. The old man looked around for a while, but when he saw Lino, he said, "Just a coffee, please."
"Just one coffee," Lino said, then swam to what I thought was probably a shelf and dove under.
Eventually, I found a red cupboard, managed to open it, took out the beans from a small bag, and placed them through the gap in the mill to grind them. Since I couldn't use the gas flame to make the hot water, I poured hot water from a thermos flask. I managed to pick up the coffee I had dropped and went up in the direction of the customer, and luckily enough, I was right in front of the man.
Lino raised both hands and poured the coffee into a cup, and the man drank it with difficulty. The man said, "It was delicious," and left. Just as he was about to call the bean shop, he heard a voice from outside the store.
It was the same man from before. "Excuse me! The coffee was delicious, so I'd like to buy some beans too!" Lino replied, "Beans? Do you have any in your pocket?" He replied, "Oh no! My pockets are full of beans!" So Lino replied, "Then please take those!"
Just as I was about to dive in to make a phone call, I heard the same crunching noise again. Some people who had heard the conversation earlier had come over for coffee.
Whenever he tries to make a phone call, a customer pops up from the sea of beans, so Lino swims in and makes coffee. Customers keep popping up, and he's very busy. By the time night falls over the roof of the shop, all the coffee beans are gone.
Finally, the customers had left, so I calmly looked at the coffee bag holder in the red cupboard and saw that there were only a few coffee beans left. I called the bean store and asked them to deliver 100 grams of coffee beans. I will be away tomorrow, so please leave them in the shop.
Tomorrow I'm going to pick wild grapes to make grape juice.
